Recently we brought you the warmly received visual to Xzibit‘s latest street single, “Hurt Locker”. The explosive clip came courtesy of Skee TV, and X has once again collaborated with DJ Skee for a brand new remix contest. This allows fans to remix the gritty Scoop DeVille-produced original.
This new campaign, launched in association with Monster Cable, Blue Headphones, and Indaba Music, is sourcing new producers to remix X’s rugged offering. The producer responsible for the finest remix will win an incredible bounty of prizes that includes placement on Skee TV, a VIP meet and greet with Xzibit and DJ Skee, and a chance to witness one of the forthcoming Skeetox live events.
Speaking about the contest, X says, “I’m excited to see what fresh musicians, rappers and producers are out there. I want to see what Indaba Music’s community can bring to the sound.”
